imagine your home country is at war
imagine living every single day in danger
imagine you always have to look behind whenever you're walking alone even in daylight
imagine that you have to be aware of your surroundings 24/7
imagine a world that there's no such thing as safe
imagine a home that can be destroyed intentionally or not intentionally
imagine a place where you can die at any time

i saw an email passed on to me about a year ago
it depicts the chaos that is still going on in Palestine
it shows four pictures of a son and his mother

First picture, a mother was lying on her son's lap, with blood all over her
Second picture, the mother gently touched her son's cheek while he was in tears
Third picture, the mother seems to be fading while she was still lying in her son's lap with his hands around her
Fourth picture, the mother died. the son just sat there, and cry..

when you think about it, what can you do if you were put in his situation..
first in your mind, would sad
its human nature to be sad at first when something really bad happens
but as the minutes pass, you tend to develop a hatred towards those who are responsible for your lost.
in this case, surely, he will seek revenge for his mother's death.
would you do the same thing; to kill the person who killed you mother?
in your state of mind, revenge is the only way to compensate your lost but in actual truth, you've compensate nothing.
by taking the life of the one who killed your loved one, you'd be doing the same actions as he did
wouldn't that make you the same person as the killer?

killing a killer makes you a killer...right?
well, at first, you wouldn't look at it that way..
but rather, you'd look at it as if you have placed justice for those who were responsible for your lost..
but as time pass, you'd realise you've achieved nothing...nothing..
all you did was to kill someone else's father, mother, son or daughter...
and you would deprive them of the same love that you desire from your loved ones..
to summarize it, you'd be the same as the killer...

even after all that, if i were to be in a position where my loved one is gone, i would surely seek revenge...
but then again, who knows..
people tend to react at the spur of the moment...
hence, we will never know what we will do..

no one knows..
no one knows..
