Friends..

what are they?

they are the ones that you with to hang out with (besides your family)
they are the ones who you do things that you dont do with your family
they are the ones who you'd go to if things go wrong
they are the ones who you'd seek comfort with when family members are "out of reach"

but my question is;
are friends forever?
is there such a thing as "best friends forever"?
as time pass, we keep on meeting new people and alternatively, we label them as our "friends".
anyone could be your friend.
one day, a passer by walks up to you and say, "hi...my names (fill in the blank). I've seen you before at (fill in the place)..that was you, right?" and if it was you, then the stranger will then introduce himself to you, or vice versa.

its as simple as ABC to make friends...
but do they last forever?

then humans came up with a new term called, "true friends"
this group of people are known to stay by you through thick and thin..
they'd also be there for you no matter what...
and thus, through that commitment, both parties would then have a sense of a tight kinship that would be hard to break

its frustrating when at times, your friends make use of you to their advantage...
even sad is that some of those being manipulated couldn't protect themselves from such actions...

i admit, i have commited such a crime...
and such a crime was commited onto me as well...
i'd like to apologise to my friends who i've make used of, manipulated with or without knowing it..

My sincere apologies.
